Will amending a return cause an audit?
IRS data isn’t clear on whether filing a Form 1040X will increase the chances of an audit. That means the IRS doesn’t automatically accept amended returns. However, the IRS won’t open an audit (or, “examination”) simply because you file an amended return.
Can I Efile amended 1065?
An amended Form 1065 can be e-filed in much the same way as Form 1065 – you can e-file the current year and previous two years. Note: To paper-file an amended 1065, use Form 1065X. Other uses of Form 1065X are described in the Instructions for Form 1065 and Instructions for Form 1065X.

Amended return. Partnerships and real estate mortgage investment conduits (REMICs) that become aware of incorrect items of income, deductions, etc., use Form 1065-X to correct their previously filed partnership or REMIC return. Can a non BBA partnership file a form 1065x?
Form 1065X: If filing on paper, non – BBA partnerships must make any corrections to a previous Form 1065 by using Form 1065X, Amended Return or Administrative Adjustment Request (AAR). If applicable, they should submit amended Schedules K – 1, too.
